Your Responsibilities:
- Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and exceptional patient experience.
- Obtain a thorough patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician.
- Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
- Conduct work in a sterile environment based on established protocols and client processes.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely, ensuring routine maintenance is up-to-date and immediately reporting any malfunctions or concerns.
- Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement of care.
- Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner.
- Maintain standards of ethical professionalism at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus
- Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program
- 1 year of Cardiac and/or Vascular Ultrasound experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, Definity contrast, and IV placement
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment.
- Valid Driver's License
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed at outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician office settings with moderate to high patient volume. Sonographers must travel in all weather conditions.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for periods of time.
- Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
