Job Description

The Credit analyst position will utilize organizational, computer, and communication skills to support the credit team and the sales staff at Mueller to meet customer commitments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Processing credit applications in a timely and accurate manner
  • Preparing and sending monthly customer account statements
  • Prompt and courteous responses to internal and external requests.
  • Perform accurate recordkeeping duties, system entries, and updates. Process vendor invoices and general administrative transactions. Coordinate work with others and communicate effectively to accomplish required job duties and responsibilities.
  • Processing transaction information including
    • Customer refunds
    • 8300 forms
    • Job information for lien reports
    • Changes in customer information
  • Willing and able to work as part of a team with additional duties and responsibilities as needed to ensure the success of the credit team and the company.

Qualifications

  • 3 plus of experience in credit and collections
  • Working knowledge of JD Edwardssoftware preferred
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs including spreadsheets, word processing, required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to multi-task while flexible to changing demands
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Work in multiple computer systems
  • Self-starter that, once trained, can work without constant supervision
