WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: As a Lead Tech in Blood components manufacturing, you are responsible for manufacturing and processing blood products after the units have been received from the donors. This will involve scanning in the units of blood, processing the units into transfusable components, (red cells, platelets, and expressing plasma) and leukoreducing red blood cells. As a Red Cross Team member, you will take care of your team members - show up for every shift and give 100% while you're there. Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion at all times WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD Key Responsibilities:
The aforementioned responsibilities of the position describe the general nature and level of work and are not an exhaustive list. Standard Schedule: Rotating Weekend Schedule- 7 on 2 off, 3 on and 2 off Pay Information: $22.47 per hour WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Physical Requirements: Frequently lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs unassisted. Frequently required to push carts weighing up to 100 pounds on flat flooring or ramps. Able to withstand temperatures in a typical blood banking environment including refrigerators and freezers. Position may require climbing of step ladders. BENEFITS FOR YOU:
