Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master - Lead Consultant with our client in the transportation industry in their Atlanta, GA location. This is a 12 + month contract position. Description: Seeking an Agile Scrum Master - Lead Consultant Our client is on a journey to becoming the best IT organization in the airline industry, a journey of transformation. Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Story Grooming, Demos, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective Ensure these events are effective and focused on achieving team goals Identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress Act as a liaison between the Scrum team and external stakeholders to address issues, including initiative Kickoffs, feedback loops and progress discussions Coach the Scrum team and the wider organization on Scrum theory and practice Help the team understand and adopt Agile principles and best practices Empower the team to self-organize and make decisions about their work Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment Identify areas for improvement in the team's workflow and processes Experiment with new approaches and practices to enhance team performance Act as a bridge between the Scrum team and other stakeholders, including product owners and management Communicate the team's progress and challenges effectively Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst in an IT environment Proficient in using Agility or similar agile project management tools Solid understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders Desired skills: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) Familiarity with airline operations or travel industry IT systems If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
