Position Overview:

The AI Transformation Director will lead Lenovo's efforts to drive AI-driven innovation and transformation across the organization. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and implementing AI strategies that align with Lenovo's global business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AI/ML, coupled with exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills to steer Lenovo's AI initiatives to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Vision:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI transformation roadmap that aligns with Lenovo's global business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for AI adoption across Lenovo's product portfolio, including AI-enabled devices, infrastructure, and services.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business leaders, product teams, and technical experts to understand business needs and translate them into actionable AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment with Lenovo's AI strategy and best practices.
• Project Management and Execution:
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of AI projects, ensuring timely and successful outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML technologies and trends, and assess their potential impact on Lenovo's business.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AI/ML teams to ensure high-quality solution development.
• Transformation Management:
  • Drive cultural change within the organization to embrace AI as a strategic enabler.
  • Communicate the value of AI initiatives to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring buy-in and support.
• Performance Measurement and Reporting:
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of AI initiatives.
  • Regularly report on progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 15+ years in AI/ML, with a track record of leading large-scale AI/IT projects and driving organizational transformation. Experience in the technology or hardware industry is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in AI/ML technologies (e.g., machine learning, NLP, computer vision) and familiarity with AI tools and platforms. Strong understanding of AI ethics and data privacy.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
