Overview The Project Management Office (PMO) is a centralized department, established to provide project and program management services to the Electric Operation organization. The department's mandate is to ensure regulatory and spec compliance, and to manage capital projects funded at $2.5M and above, and capital programs funded at $10M and above. Core functions also includes leading cross functional teams to successfully deliver schedule attainment, operations excellence, cost management, the integration of project management methodology and best practices, and to promote a zero-harm work environment. The PMO team also plays and integral role during all phases of the project life cycle (initiation, plan, execute, monitor and control, and closeout).The Project Specialist (2H) under supervision maintains standards for project and/or program management within Electric Operations through the attainment of schedule dates, milestones, project, and program target goals. The Project Specialist also manages, participates, and contributes to the production of deliverables and work products during the project planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 7 years of work
- experience within
- industry or
- Associate's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of work

- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of work

- industry
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field and five years of utility or consulting experience
Relevant Work Experience
- 3-5 years An in-depth and broad understanding of problem identification, analysis and
- resolution. Required
- 3-5 years Knowledge of electric distribution systems. Required
- 3-5 years Must be analytical and detailed oriented and have excellent verbal and written
- communication skills. Required
- 3-5 years Must have experience in the design, construction, capital projects. Required
- 3-5 years Possess strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Project,
- Microsoft Visio, and MS Office Suite. Required
- 3-5 years Must have experience in directing project planning, budgeting and establishing
- critical project objectives. Required
- 3-5 years Must have knowledge of the business operations in the areas of engineering and
- design, construction, purchasing, scheduling, logistics and cost control. Required
- 3-5 years Must demonstrate experience in budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring quality of all
- project elements including ability to manage complex projects with multiple subprojects. Required
- 3-5 years Must demonstrate awareness of the stages that a project goes through and the
- problems that surface during the execution of the project's initiatives. Required
