Job Description
Coordinates schedules, department flow, and performs receptionist duties. Maintains statistical reports and retrieves and scans documents.
Job Responsibility
- * Maintains, adjusts, and confirms schedules.
- * Schedules procedures and works with appropriate departments for time verification, preparation of records and documentation, as required.
- * Acts as primary support person for the reception area
- * Maintains statistics reports on all related departments and activities.
- * Tracks records and follows up by ensuring the appropriate records are sent/ retrieved from referring departments, etc
- * Reads imaging reports in order to mail letters to patients.
- * May verify patient insurance, insurance referrals or authorizations needed.
- * May initiate reminder phone calls for next day appointments.
- Retrieves and scans reports.
- Performs reception functions.
- Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Typing 20 wpm and/or data entry skills, required.
Minimum of six (6) months registration experience in a hospital or related healthcare setting, required.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
