Position Summary

Pregis Corporation, a leading global provider of innovative packaging solutions, seeks a Sales Account Manager - Engineered Products, based in the Southeast territory, reporting to the Director of Engineered Products. This individual will cover territories such as North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be based in the Charlotte/Atlanta areas.

The Sales Account Manager for Engineered Products will be responsible for establishing sales development strategy to identify, qualifying, and selling to new and existing customers in their territory, and utilizing market data to qualify, develop, and build relationships with end-users.

Responsibilities



  • Responsible for driving new business through the Fabricator network
  • Effectively managing the established book of business by facilitating positive, growth-oriented relationships, sales strategy development; and sales forecasting
  • Critical focus on new business development within an established territory, maximizing sales volume growth consistent with overall business profit margin performance while emphasizing the OnePregis product lines as a competitive advantage
  • Contribute to the designing of sustainable packaging for the future



Education / Experience: Minimum level of education and experience required



  • University degree or college diploma, package engineering or business preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of protective packaging experience, field, or classroom



Skills & Training: Specific skills, training or certifications needed to perform the position.



  • Possess an impressive track record of prospecting new accounts and end-users
  • Highly effective negotiation and communication skills
  • Capacity to prepare and present compelling sales materials
  • Results oriented, highly motivated to perform with minimal direct management
  • High degree of personal and professional ethical standards
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral
  • Organized, effective time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Pregis products, applications, and manufacturing capabilities
  • Travel requirements (60%) - minimum 2 nights per week on the road
  • Willingness to entertain customers during evening hours
  • Ability to stay motivated in a home office setting
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
