Scope: The Production Control Associate applies thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices related to identifying and prioritizing production requirements and coordinating the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies to meet production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and accomplishes a complete range of assignments and tasks that are generally routine to moderately complex relative to scheduling and coordinating the flow of parts, material and work within or between departments.

  • Compiles and maintains manual and computerized records such as production schedules, material inventory, in process production reports and status/location of materials.

  • Release and print work orders according to the master schedule. Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.

  • Issues materials to work orders and arranges movement of materials from one department to another.

  • Closes and performs goods receipt function for completed work orders.

  • Facilitate the restart process, ensures timely completion of restart forms through the signature loop to protect customer commitments and delivery requirements.

  • Supports all system-based aspects of production scheduling - (Examples Below)

    • Review and update priority codes

    • Plan and release stock travelers

    • Reschedule work orders as necessary.

  • Support the production team to facilitate timely movement of work through the shop. Supports cross functional communication between key members of management, engineering and the production team.

  • Coordinate outside service processing and, where necessary, generate the outside service form. Communicate directly with the vendor to ensure timely return of product from outside services.

  • Facilitate communication with sales regarding all aspects of schedule including but not limited to commitments for shipment of product. Facilitate customer service through timely response to internal requests for status; Facilitate system maintenance; Example tasks below include but are not limited to:

    • Provide timelines on critical jobs and where timing is a critical factor.

    • Run Exception Report and verify we have enough parts running to cover orders.

    • Update Sales Order ship dates in Paradigm.

    • Re-link Work Orders as necessary.

    • Manage HOLD and CANCELLED work orders

  • Competent in the use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel and operate standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge of ERP/CRP systems is preferred. Oracle experience desirable.

Education and Experience

Required Education: High School Diploma

Required Work Experience: 0-2 Years Relevant Experience

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$42,790 - $67,636

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
