The Provider Relationship Manager will serve as a representative to the provider community across various regions. The individual leads a team focused on building key relationships with providers, to continue positive relationships with BCBSNE. Candidates will be responsible for managing teams, conducting provider training through webinars and onsite forums, participate in strategic planning, and reporting key insights to internal leaders.
  • Applicants for this role must reside within the state of Nebraska.
  • This role will require approximately one visit per month to our office located in Omaha, NE.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage teams of Provider Relationship Executives supporting providers in PHOs, ACOs, various zip codes (including dental), ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance provider experience and satisfaction, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare providers, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between providers and the organization, effectively communicating updates, policies, and feedback.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of Provider Relationship Executives, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and five (5) years' experience within health network operations with direct management experience.
  • Experience in and understanding of the health care industry, professional, and facility reimbursement, knowledge and insight to emerging healthcare delivery models, and billing practices.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement. The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments.

The ability to work well in a team environment and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.
