Job Description/Preferred Qualifications The KLA Sensors team is looking for a dedicated electrical design engineer to join our group and contribute in the area of camera development focused on Sensor Test. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual contributor that has the vision and initiative to provide technical leadership on the assigned project. The main job functions would include: Test and characterization of sophisticated image sensors and cameras Generating sensor test requirements Developing engineering tests in Matlab/Python/LabVIEW/Excel Integration and modification of sensor test fixtures Collaborating with manufacturing partners Verifying sensor performance and reliability, and integrating the camera sub-system Qualifications The successful candidate will ideally have a demonstrated record of innovation and implementation of leading-generation CMOS or CCD-based sensors, from design through production and release phases. Excellent written and verbal communications skills Sensor test experience, preferably with high bandwidth low noise CMOS or CCD Experience and knowledge of innovative CMOS/CCD sensor manufacturing, packaging, and testing processes Project and vendor management skills Camera system integration experience Minimum Qualifications Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years Base Pay Range: $134,800.00 - $229,200.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA KLA's total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
