Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use as a generalist or in a combination of Purchasing Disciplines. Major Position Responsibilities
Develops and executes sourcing strategy, evaluates product offerings, recommends suppliers, and negotiates contracts for assigned categories or departments.
Independence: Basic Qualifications Require Education: Associate degree Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Major: Business Administration / Supply Chain Management 2 to 4 years of relevant experience Ability to work as part of a team. Decision-making skills. Oral and written communication skills. Analytical thinking skills. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.
