Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator - Talent Acquisition performs duties to recruit and acquire talent for Georgia Southern University. The Human Resources Coordinator - Talent Acquisition works in a customer-focused role and provides professional support to the staff, student, and temporary hiring processes.

Responsibilities
  • Actively recruit employees for Georgia Southern University
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with campus departments and stakeholders
  • Post job ads that accurately describe open positions to attract candidates
  • Represent Georgia Southern University at career fairs and outreach events
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with university policies and federal regulations
  • Provide training and create materials for hiring managers on best practices and relevant laws
  • Organize and coordinate events to promote employment opportunities
  • Develop and manage content for social media platforms to market employment opportunities
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries through the MyHelp system
  • Assist prospective applicants and support candidates through the pre-employment process


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree OR Six (6) or more years of related work experience

Required Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience


Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Experience working in higher education


Proposed Salary

$20.71 - $22.88 per hour

This is an non-exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
