About the role

Process Technician position supports the processing of all material through the facility, operates heavy equipment such as Trackhoe(s), Skid Steer, Tractor trucks (non-CDL Driver) with/without attachments, Forklifts, etc. and complies with all OSHA, SCDHEC and DOT (as applicable), requirements while maximizing production and minimizing expenses, SAFELY.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, procedures and acting in a safe manner, at all times.

* Performs all job-related functions in a safe, honest, ethical, and compliant fashion.

* Maintains a "Safety First" approach to all tasks and understand that operating safely is the most important thing we do.

* Coordinate's production based on lab results.

* Maintains OSHA, DHEC and DOT (if applicable) training requirements for self.

* Has the ability to wear and properly use a variety of Levels A, B, C, & D Personal Protective Equipment including face, hand, foot, and eye protection.

* Operates heavy equipment to include Trackhoe(s), Skid Steer, Tractor trucks (non-CDL Driver) with/without attachments, Forklift and other required equipment as needed.

* Motivates workers and promotes a team environment.

* Completes required paperwork including timecard, operational documents, JSA's and Safety Audits and inspections.

* Is a team player and leads by example.

* Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the company as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • GED/HS Diploma preferred - Reworld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED
  • Demonstrates a strong mechanical ability
  • Ability to demonstrate how your actions support Reworld Values and Behaviors, including Safe and Inclusive Workplace, Delivering Results through Trust and Building Breakthrough Capabilities.
  • Good driving record and valid state issued Driver's License
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and other required safety training.

Shift

Primarily Monday to Friday day shift, but evening and weekend hours may be needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires standing, walking, carrying, stooping, crouching, sitting, grasping, climbing ladder and stairs, and reaching.
  • May require lifting, pulling and/or pushing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical activity
  • Ability to work flexible hours or weekends during emergency situations such as shredder is down
  • Ability to work in hot and cold (>90 F and <32 F) environments for extended periods of time.
