Join us as a Controlling Finance Intern Your main responsibilities Schindler Elevator Company is searching for highly motivated candidates interested in an internship in Finance. The internship will provide college undergraduate students with the opportunity to learn and develop while getting hands-on experience working with the Finance team in our Morristown, NJ Headquarters. Typical intern tasks will include: Assist in monthly NI, SC & FO financial closing Prepare files for the month-end close process Reconcile balance sheet accounts Prepare spreadsheets for analysis as needed for NI, SC & FO Controlling Assist in preparing for NI forecast and budget process Updating files with historical data for analysis Assist in preparing files for slide presentations Other misc. as needed Ad hoc assistance as needed across the controlling teams Requests from sales and operations depts Prepare historical repository of financial KPI trends (i.e. HPU, % to base, OiT, etc.) Assist in the daily OiT report. What you bring Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related Field. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel). Must have reliable housing andtransportation to commute to office each day. Housing assistance is not offered. What's in it for you?
