We are currently seeking a dynamic candidate for an entry level full-time Merchandiser position at our Corporate Office in Omaha, NE. Through our on-the-job training and in a fast-paced, positive team environment, you will merchandise soybeans and finished soy commodities while engaging in supply chain management. To provide best-in-class customer service, you will interact and develop relationships with key suppliers and end-users. This opportunity will allow you to develop critical negotiation and problem-solving skills while acquiring an understanding of hedging and commodity trading in the agriculture industry.

Responsibilities:

• Trade soybeans and finished soybean products
• Negotiate transactions with suppliers and end-users
• Interact and maintain strong business relationships with key AGP customers
• Participate in supply chain and risk management
• Team with AGP employees and departments to maximize operations
• Represent AGP at company and industry functions
• Research, gather and interpret market information
• Travel to plant sites and customer locations

• Bachelor's degree related to business, finance, or agriculture
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Comfortable entering into negotiations
• Strong customer service and effective communication skills
• Enjoy a competitive work environment
• Highly organized, detail oriented and strong multi-tasker
• Experience in agriculture, farming, grain or soy trading, and soybean products preferred, but not required
