Overview

Responsible for the enterprise ProjectWise administration for TRC's power sector by providing a variety of design and engineering services for utility, municipal, generation, renewable and government clients. The administrator is responsible for user support, project setup, maintaining managed workspaces, workspace profiles, ProjectWise PowerShell Automation, and ProjectWise365 interoperability with Microsoft 365 software technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate teamwork, consensus building, and good interpersonal skills with users, sub-contractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Provide management and configuration of ProjectWise enterprise software and integration with Bentley ProjectWise Suite (Desktop, 365, Drive).
  • Provide guidance and consultation relative to ProjectWise use on project delivery procedures for various projects.
  • Manages and resolves Project Wise Service Tickets
  • Troubleshooting installs/updates and issues revolving around the PW client program for users.
  • Coordinates closely across IT and business operations to support technology initiatives as required. Coordination may include awareness of system upgrades, software installation, virtual systems, hosted solution, project status, etc.
  • Provide ProjectWise user setup, project setup, assign user permissions, implement system updates, and test new versions and features of ProjectWise. Experience with ProjectWise workflow development and companywide automation, e.g., renditions.
  • Provide first-line technical support ProjectWise and its association/integration with Bentley and Autodesk products as well as other engineering software packages.
  • Work with internal Information Technology staff to maintain current software packages and standards within ProjectWise.
  • Support Bentley CONNECT Services for project teams, including CONNECT Projects with ProjectWise repositories and setting up applicable CONNECT services.
  • Integrate client standards, workspaces/work areas, and other relevant content for project management and project controls.
  • Work directly with internal Information Technology staff, engineering design and CAD Support teams to gather companywide needs and implement environments that improve project success and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with CAD managers and engineering technical leads on implementing ProjectWise with integrated CAD and BIM workflows. Provide training on ProjectWise best practices and user support for users in their regions.
  • Recommend training options and actively participate in the implementation and execution of a companywide ProjectWise user training program. Identify and facilitate the use of Bentley Learning tools, Connect, Bentley University, company CAD Resources, Microsoft 365 Teams, and SharePoint to share information.
  • Utilize and develop SOPs, training videos, presentations, and other support media. Support and conduct group and individual training using various distance learning methods. Some onsite training for office implementations and project support will also be required.
  • Create and maintain ProjectWise and CAD environment support documentation, including procedures, software best practices, workflow guidelines, and system configuration documentation. Document integrations with various CAD and engineering tools.
  • Support IT InfoSec team with ISO27001 policy and certification.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in ProjectWise administration for engineering projects using Bentley and Autodesk software.
  • Ability to integrate client workspaces, perform project setup in ProjectWise, workflow development, and support for enterprise capabilities in ProjectWise, e.g., renditions.
  • Demonstration and history of teamwork and good interpersonal skills with users, sub-contractors, clients, and project teams.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Bentley Accredited ProjectWise Administrator preferred.
  • Self-motivated and can work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Highly collaborative and can work cross-functionally, while cultivating relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and documentation procedures.
  • Proficiency in ProjectWise PowerShell Scripting preferred.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
