Responsible for initial and ongoing training and certification of hospital Security Officers and Supervisors at Northside Hospital as well as de-escalation training throughout the hospital.

1. One (1) year supervisory experience with Hospital Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation, or proven leadership ability in a Security position. Two (2) years college may be substituted for experience.
2. Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
3. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of established safety / security best practices.
5. Demonstrated computer skills operating in a windows environment and proficient in the use of MS Office.

PREFERRED:

1. Prior training instructor experience.
2. Certified as a Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) Instructor.
3. DECON Instruction Certified
