Production Test Technician

We're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Test Technician to join a collaborative team developing life-changing healthcare technologies.

About the Role:

In this role, you'll work closely with R&D engineers to support product development through rigorous testing and analysis. You'll play a key part in ensuring quality and compliance while exploring innovative testing methods. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician with experience in mechanical testing and a strong understanding of engineering lab environments.

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, some flexibility

Pay: $35/hr.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform mechanical and electrical testing, including pull, flex, torque, and high voltage/current tests
  • Set up and run complex test equipment following protocols and test methods
  • Collect and analyze data, maintain detailed records, and communicate findings to project teams
  • Contribute to technology transfer and testing method development
  • Support cross-functional discussions on device performance and test results
  • Ensure compliance with all quality and documentation standards


Qualifications:



  • AA degree or equivalent experience with at least 3+ years in R&D technical support or related field
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical testing and lab equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and file sharing tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment


Preferred Skills:



  • Background in medical device testing and documentation
  • Familiarity with lab tools such as Instron, MTS, Keyence, or OGP Smartscope
  • Experience with tensile, torque, and RSU testing
  • Ability to train others and develop test methods
  • Please Note: This role is not open to recent 4-year mechanical/electrical engineering graduates
