Production Supervisor

We're looking for a highly motivated Production Supervisor to lead a team of skilled operators and technicians while fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment. You will play a critical role in guiding daily production operations, optimizing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement efforts. This position also serves as a stepping stone toward future leadership opportunities, including potential growth into an Operations Manager role.

At our Rome facility, we produce precision steel coils, primarily for the automotive sector. Pay Range: $67,000-$100,000

Responsibilities



  • Lead, mentor, and coach employees to achieve high performance standards
  • Ensure safety and quality through continuous improvement initiatives, audits, and best practices
  • Drive production efficiency, monitor metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate with facility leaders to align strategies with overall business objectives
  • Develop and implement operator training programs to enhance technical expertise
  • Oversee workforce planning, hiring, and onboarding processes
  • Cross-train in production, maintenance, scheduling, quality, and EHS to gain full operational knowledge
  • Other Duties as Assigned.


Desired Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Strong leadership abilities with a passion for developing teams
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
  • Proven ability to manage projects and drive operational excellence
