Required Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Logistics / Supply Chain Management. Minimum of 2 years' experience of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment. Must be forklift certified or become certified within 3 months. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Associate's degree, preferably in Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline. Forklift Certification Train the Trainer. Spanish as a secondary language. Job Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Supervise daily logistics activities, including receiving, processing and shipping goods. Ensure product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations, and daily, weekly, monthly, andannual business objectives. Support relationships with 3PL and fleet management partners, identify and document business requirements. Develop strategies to optimize current logistical fleet & cost spend while analyzing usage, maintenance & repair cost. Implement FIFO plan for raw materials, components and finished goods. Supervise, train and motivate logistics staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of all logistics personnel. Conduct daily inspections, ensuring compliance and applicable federal, state, local and internal laws, regulations and policies. Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment. Draft and distribute driver schedules, use outside trucks as needed. Provide support for schedule parcel, LTL, TL domestic and international shipments, and negotiate optimal rates working alongside corporate transportation teams.
