Chemistry Intern

The intern will develop prototype intracellular staining formulations for testing in flow cytometry. These formulations will be refined in collaboration with the Cell Biology and Chemistry teams. Additionally, the intern will learn bioconjugation techniques and prepare bioconjugates to support the intracellular flow cytometry project.

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Preparation of candidate formulations for intracellular staining buffers will aid in the development of a successful product.
• Preparation of test conjugates for intracellular flow will advance the intracellular flow project.
• Development of bioconjugation skills will benefit multiple projects requiring these skills.
• Development of basic biochemistry lab skills will benefit the team in general

What You Bring:

• Education: Current sophomore or junior pursuing a BA/BS in Biochemistry or a related field.
• Work Experience: Not required, but laboratory experience is preferred.
• GPA: Minimum 3.0

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
