The Opportunity Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for our Alamo, TN location! This role is crucial in supervising a team of production employees engaged in various manufacturing activities. You'll schedule work to meet on-time delivery objectives while optimizing resource utilization. How You'll Make an Impact Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on equipment use and maintaining compliance with policies. Manage and train employees within your work group. Achieve Section KPIs for Safety, On-Time Delivery, Throughput Time, Productivity, and Efficiency. Track and enter hourly employees' time into the timekeeping system. Resolve or assist in resolving production, technical, and logistics problems. Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and reducing backlog. Provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing production performance records. Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating issues, and recommending actions. Your Background Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience; OR associate's degree and 4+ years of manufacturing experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of manufacturing experience. Broad experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing implementation and Six Sigma training. Strong interpersonal skills to achieve cooperation from others. Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
