Description Nursing/Clinical Support For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Medical Assistants:
The MaineHealth Walk-in-Clinics consist of locations in Kennebunk, Saco, Sanford and Waterboro. This position will be hired for our Kennebunk location, but we are looking for someone w/the flexibility to shift to any of our other locations to help cover call-outs, vacations, etc. This is a primarily clinical MA position. Daily duties will include: rooming patients, taking vitals, splinting, ear lavages, dressing changes, point of care testing. Our culture is one that fosters trust, teamwork and work-life balance. This part-time (24/hrs per week) position will consist of working 2-12 hours shifts. Summary: The Medical Assistant (MA) role is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care and administrative support in a team-based environment while promoting a smooth flow of patients through the office. The Medical Assistant MA role functions under the license of the physician/advanced practice practitioner when performing clinical and other patient care responsibilities.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
