ABOUT THE JOB

The JD Edwards Business Analyst's role is to work with Hawkins' end-users to ensure the Hawkins' JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne system is meeting current and future business needs. The position will assist end-users in resolving JD Edwards system issues during weekly operations and at month-end. The JDE Business Analyst will self-assign JDE tickets from the IT help desk system to resolve problems with system transactions and usability/training issues. This position is located on site at our Roseville, MN HQ.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

JDE Training & Support



  • Provide end-user support on various JDE modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues in JDE.
  • Participate in the roll-out and training of new JDE features and enhancement to the end-user community.
  • Provide training on various JDE modules to end-users.
  • Assist in managing the JDE training library to ensure work instructions are updated with complete and current processes, procedures, and policies.


JDE Application Integration, Testing & Deployment Support



  • Participate in the JDE integration of new acquisitions

    • Assist in the setup, training and go live activities.


  • Develop and execute test plans for new functionality.
  • Participate in the setup and deployment of new functionality.


Business Operations Support



  • Analyze and verify end-user requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to Hawkins' standards.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction and understanding of the project to the end-users, the developers, and the project team management
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to the functional user and the technical team members.
  • Conduct solution validations.
  • Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Enforce project timelines and redefine goals and outcomes as necessary.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements- verbally or through written documentation - to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues, solutions, and statuses are understood.
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.


              ABOUT YOU:



              • College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, supply chain or operations management, or information systems and two to five years related work experience.
              • Experience* with core JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software application modules, including one or more of the following:

                • Planning and Forecast Management
                • Manufacturing
                • Inventory Management
                • Sales Order Management
                • Procurement
                • Transportation Management
                • Quality
                • Item Master
                • Accounting (AP, AR)
                • *Where hands-on experience with a specific module has not been attained, candidate must have a desire to learn those modules to support the needs of the business.


              • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
              • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
              • Ability to apply research and identify solutions to end-user system issues.
              • Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources.
              • Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.
              • 3-10 years of experience with JDE (end user or analyst) preferred
              • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
              • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
              • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
              • Highly self-motivated and directed.
              • Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it.
              • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
              • Strong customer service orientation.
              • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


                PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

                TRAVEL

                Occasional travel required (less than 10%).

                Expected Compensation: $89,000-120,000/year. + 10% Bonus Eligibility - Depending on experience and qualifications.
