Description

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee day-to-day customer systems, sales, profitability, communications, and relationships for assigned sales accounts. This role is pivotal in achieving targets and strategies set by the Sales Director/Business Development Director. As the key point of contact for assigned customer representatives, you will be responsible for identifying, building, supporting, and developing long-term relationships.

Essential Accountabilities:



  • Manage day-to-day sales, customer systems (input and reporting), profitability, communications, and relationships for existing customer representatives to achieve targets.
  • Collaboratively develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts with guidance from the Sales Director/Business Development Director.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on customer systems and processes (including commercialization, audits, facility approvals, etc.).
  • Identify, develop, and deliver cost savings and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support new product development projects, product transitions, and the commercialization process with guidance from the Sr. Business Development Director.
  • Support and execute account planning and forecasting, including sales budgeting.
  • Act as an internal liaison to support manufacturing and supply chain solutions.

  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, contributing to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related tasks as needed or requested.


Qualification Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of progressively responsible experience in sales, marketing management, or business development in a consumer products and/or retail organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel 25%
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Ability to leverage and effectively navigate and build internal and external relationships.
  • Strong multi-tasking and superior time management skills.
  • Exemplary written, verbal, and social skills.
