Responsible for communicating coordinating and directing the deployment of personnel and equipment in the UVA-Medical Transport Network as it relates to internal medical emergency response and external ground and air medical transportation. Responsible for communicating with various internal and external customers involved with patient movement and medical center operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Experience: Previous multi-mission communications center experience preferred. Licensure: Certification as an Advanced EMT or higher in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. Certified Flight Communicator Certification preferred. EMD Certification preferred. National Registry Certification as EMS Provider preferred. Basic Dispatcher course preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
