We are looking for a full stack software engineer who wants to improve their technical skills and join a highly collaborative team building out a web application that is transforming the way scientists make discoveries using Bio-Rad products. You will work on all aspects of the product - front-end, back-end and infrastructure - on a small team that owns the full stack from conception to release, including operations and enhancements. We emphasize a collaborative team culture, with good work-life balance. You will be working with and mentoring other team members using best practices in security, scaling and agility.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Work within a team to plan, deploy, and maintain scientific applications.
  • Design, develop, test, and release new features focusing on customer experience.
  • Create and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure high reliability of new and existing features. Work with SQA and product owners to ensure comprehensive coverage and quick feedback loops.
  • Provide peer code and design reviews.
  • Build an easy-to-use user experience.


What You Bring:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in web application development.
  • Proficient in Typescript, JavaScript, Node.js, React, RTL, Python.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Ability to communicate with developers and product owners.
  • Experience making technical decisions and communicating the rationale.
  • Experience giving other developers feedback on code and technical designs.
  • Experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing and related technologies.
  • Ability and motivation to continuously learn new technologies and practices.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $117,900 to $162,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
