Welder - 1st Shift gea

JOB DUTIES:

* Read engineering documents such as prints, routing, and process instructions to weld carbon, stainless, aluminum, and other alloys

* MIG and TIG welding

* Assemble part using proper tools/techniques/fixtures

* Proper handling of measurement tools and completing inspection reports

* Attention to Weld QA (finishes, distortion, etc)

* Forward welded parts to next operation

* Fill out scrap report

* Maintain all equipment in good operating condition

* Track progress in ERP software

* Always keep work area neat, clean and safe

* Safely perform all responsibilities and in adherence to company policy

* Maintain good attendance

* Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing

* Attention to detail

* Computer knowledge

* Ability to use inspection tools

* Proficient with in position (benchtop) and turntable welding

* Ability to set up MIG and TIG preferable

* Walk and stand for entire shift

* Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
