Medical Biller - Charge Entry Baltimore, Maryland Pay From: $21 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Biller - Charge Entry 2 plus years of professional experience as a Medical Biller 2 years of experience doing charge entry Must have medical coding knowledge Must have experience with EMR DUTIES: Medical Biller will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Receive and review charge entry data from all practice locations Verifying and coding of the diagnosis, evaluation and management, procedures or other codes required for the completeness and accuracy of the record Accurately and efficiently enter charges and adjustments Apply patient payments in Practice Management system Inform supervisor of consistent issues when identified Perform edit checks on data entered prior to transmittal and corrects errors as indicated Keep current on informational changes in billing procedures Analyze medical record documentation for consistency and completeness for coding purposes using established criteria and regulations Performs other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
