Asset Management Specialist

LinTech Global is looking for an Asset Management Specialist to support the PEO STRI IT Service Management Contract in Orlando, FL.

Position Overview:

This position focuses on property management accountability operations, ensuring the effective control and accountability of all Contract Acquired Property (CAP) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).



  • The Asset Management Specialist will work within a team environment providing IT services to federal employees, contractors, and external supporting agencies involved in developing Training, Simulation, and Instrumentation for the U.S. Army.
  • This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities:



  • Ensure effective control and accountability of all CAP and GFE in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations.
  • Prepare documentation and communicate with contract representatives regarding disposition, transfer, loss, theft, damage, and destruction (LDD), fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement of CAP/GFE.
  • Investigate and determine the root cause of inventory discrepancies.
  • Conduct extensive research of property and supporting documents, including hand receipts, change documents, automated computer reports, purchase orders, turn-ins, and lateral transfers.
  • Resolve discrepancies with the Property Management System and other responsible officials.
  • Conduct reviews of property operations, reports, and records.
  • Perform pick-up and delivery of CAP/GFE (assets).
  • Verify quantities of assets received against bills of lading, purchase requests, receiving reports, and shipping documents.
  • Conduct quarterly physical inventories.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and strapping/wrapping machines.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations for GFE shipment activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in property management.
  • DoD IAT Level I Certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Experience operating a pallet jack.
