Summary / Position Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee the company's operational procedure, metrics, and ensure said procedures and metrics are being followed and exceeded. This role is also about actively coaching and developing employees to their maximum potential.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for inventory accuracy in all sites, monitoring, reviewing and implementing best practices around inventory control
  • Implementing and enforcing Corporate policies across the Zone
  • Attending internal and external audits as it relates to the QMS and Sox audits
  • Assisting local site with the disposal of chemicals that have been written off
  • Work with cross functional departments on problem resolution and process improvement opportunities
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and optimize operation processes, workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction. Implement process improvement initiatives and share best practices with other Operations Managers
  • Train and participate in LEAN activities which include Kaizen events, 5S, root cause analysis, current and future state process maps
  • To meet and exceed customer experience metrics in the QMS system
  • Ensure all building maintenance and security measures are being addressed
  • All sites are trained & following compliance regulations as it relates to OSHA, Fire Marshall, FAA and other state, local municipalities
  • Pro-actively working the expired material and surplus reports to move inventory before it is written off
  • To ensure all warehouses and sales are following revenue recognition policies
  • Cross training and development of new and existing employees and ensuring employee morale is maintained in a positive direction
  • Ensure all product storage in local facilities are stored correctly, site has correct PPE and storage conditions are being met
  • Adequately hire and train the local warehouses to ensure OTD and inventory accuracy is being met
  • Work with Corporate on building closures and new sites
  • Pro-actively manage all WTs and Oes that are in a printed stage to ensure all orders and WTSs are accounted for and shipped withing the SLA
  • Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Chemical Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in operations within the electronic manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.
  • IATA and CFR49 Certificate of completion
  • Forklift certification and training for all types
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a chemical or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EH&S requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems, & all functions of warehouse activities
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to Travel to other sites often throughout the year (up to 40%)
  • Microsoft Excel I and II skills are required
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals
  • Effectively communicates with clients and internal team members



Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA andother federal, state and local standards.
