Security Officer - Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we prioritize a caring culture that puts people first. This role does not require carrying a weapon, and familiarity with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, although this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
