What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of professional experience, preferably in insurance, product management or a related field.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple initiatives, timelines and cross functional stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong analytic skills with ability to assess and address problems as well as understand detailed insurance customer workflows to identify opportunity areas for improvement
  • Clear, professional communication skills - able to convey technical and business concepts to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, in writing and in conversation
  • Experience pulling reports through business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI

We'd Love To See:

  • Insurance industry experience within Product Management, Underwriting, or Pricing preferred
  • Ability to query and organize raw data into descriptive analytics for decision making
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment; proven ability to interact with all associate levels to convey complex business initiatives in an easily understood, consistent message across a variety of audiences is required
  • Familiarity with SERFF and experience in the filing process with various state departments of insurance a plus
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences preferred, including delivering product demos or representing the team in cross-functional discussions and presenting at conferences/summits.

Impact You'll Make:

  • You will learn and serve as subject matter expert for the Insurance Vertical's core credit-based products
  • Develop and evaluate new insurance product ideas and strategic product extensions
  • Translate research discoveries and data sets into usable insurance products
  • Define clear product vision in product requirements document based on technical research
  • Lead, plan and track all phases of the product life cycle from inception through introduction into the marketplace
  • Appraise new product ideas to determine potential to address customer needs and achieve goals in revenue growth and market share

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $82,700.00 - $120,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
