We are seeking an experienced lab diagnostic sales professional to work with the Midwest Sales Region to promote Bio-Rad's renowned Quality Control Business. The Quality Control Account Executive will leverage their knowledge of the clinical diagnostic laboratory to promote our key strategic initiatives and support the region in achieving its goals.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Must execute a growth strategy as defined by sales leadership through direct sales activity and by assisting regional account managers to achieve their growth targets and business objectives for QC business. Must be an active participant in uncovering new opportunities for business within accounts, IDNs, and GPO contracts. They must be willing to travel in the field 50% of the time.
  • Must have strong business analytics skills to monitor sales trends, contract compliance, complete bid requests, drive product growth and proactively assess customer utilization. The person must be competent in Microsoft products, advanced excel competencies, and have strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel with account managers, present at regional meetings, participate in sales meetings, work with channel partners/distributors, and train and mentor the sales team on QC products and best practices.
  • Present to customers and internal sales teams in person or via web conferencing on QC products, informatics sales demonstrations, training, and the overall value of Bio-Rad QC solutions.


What You Bring:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in medical laboratory science or life science. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of clinical laboratory sales experience.
  • Outstanding and engaging presentation and training skills to both small and large audiences.
  • Technical knowledge to assist the selling region with QC knowledge, and selling techniques for all control products to all customer types (GPOs, IDNs, Government, Reference labs, POLs, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and selling skills.
  • Strong collaborator with a history of team-selling success.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $94,100 to $129,400 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
