INVISTA is seeking a Brand Creative & Communications Lead to join their team in Kennesaw, GA. This role will support the CORDURA Advanced Fabrics brand, who have been leading the fabrics industry for over 55 years, offering high-performance fabric for apparel and gear. They are trusted by leading brands and even used by militaries for protection.

We are seeking a visionary Brand Creative and Communications Lead who will embody the art of storytelling. You will be at the forefront of engaging content creation across diverse platforms, working to amplify our brand's visibility and presence in the Americas, Europe and Middle East regions. As a member of the global brand team, this role will work closely with business development in various regions to assess new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies. This pivotal role requires a skilled strategist dedicated to crafting and implementing branding strategies that align with the CORDURA brand vision and objectives.

This role will require up to 20% travel, including international travel, overnight travel, and occasional weekend travel.

What You Will Do

  • Americas/EMEA Regional Marketing Strategy:
      • Partner with the global marketing team to ensure that the Americas/EMEA marketing strategy aligns seamlessly with commercial lead priorities, enhancing our market presence.
      • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that elevate brand equity while effectively communicating the brand story and value proposition to our target audiences.
      • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of marketing activities across various channels, engaging with mill and brand customers to understand their needs and drive meaningful improvements.
      • Own the annual resourcing and Advertising & Promotion (A&P) plan for marketing efforts in the Americas/EMEA, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Brand Development:
      • Develop robust marketing collateral and tools for our mill network, effectively communicating the value and strength of CORDURA fabric to potential brand customers.
      • Partner with key brand customers in the Americas/EMEA to create co-marketing campaigns and initiatives that spark consumer interest and drive conversion.
      • Work with agencies to develop campaigns and content that reflect the brand strategies you define, ensuring alignment with our brand vision and goals.
      • Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams and external partners on brand storytelling and value proposition development, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and brand excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement:
      • Collaborate with major functions such as sales, business development, product management, and R&D to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand message across all touchpoints.
      • Establish effective communication channels for the global exchange.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present ideas and strategies to diverse audiences, driving engagement and understanding.
  • Talent Development:
      • Leverage the strengths across your team to maximize business impact and deliver on business priorities.
      • Inspire others to take action through authentic leadership, passion and commitment.
      • Provide objectives, coaching, feedback to help them grow in their careers.
      • Act as a SME in marketing to help the broader team learn and grow.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 7+ years' experience in brand management and/or brand marketing
  • Experience managing people
  • Experience managing advertising agencies/creative partners
  • Working experience with systems like Salesforce, SAP, Ariba
  • Strong cross-functional engagement skills
  • Experience in B2C and B2B marketing
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
