Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field Experience working with animals in a veterinary hospital, humane society, or another animal facility Project management experience

Job Contributions
Oversee daily operations of the New Hope and Foster programs, ensuring smooth coordination between staff, rescue partners, and foster families. Lead and support program staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management, to build a strong and effective team. Leads in restructuring and implementing a specialized foster program for large adult dogs, establishing clear expectations and ensuring program success. Develop and implement efficient workflows to streamline animal placements, reduce response times, and increase overall program effectiveness. Develop and administer a marketing strategy to expand the foster network, collaborating with the Communications team to raise awareness and attract new fosters. Build and maintain strong relationships with rescue partners, fosters, customers, volunteers, and key stakeholders by ensuring clear communication, ongoing collaboration, and exceptional customer service from both yourself and your team. Stay informed on industry best practices, researching animal welfare trends and integrating innovative strategies to enhance program impact.
Working Conditions
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. Position works in a busy, often noisy, office setting within an animal shelter with proximity to animals of all types. Exposure to animals, cleaning products used in animal shelters, and the smells associated with animal housing is common. Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor, ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel. Must possess or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver's license
