Work Schedule:


Monday & Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday & Thursday 10am-7pm & Friday 8am-4pm

Rate of Pay/Benefits:



This is a Full-Time Support Staff position at grade 11, with an annual salary range of $36,133 to $48,177. The salary offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College's compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Job Summary:



An employee in this position classification performs work of moderate difficulty to maintain the data integrity of student records. Work is defined by the ability to additionally assist with student registration. General supervision is received by the assigned manager.




Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:




  1. Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a minimum of 3 years customer service experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  2. Working skill to collect and analyze information and problem solve.
  3. Working skill in independently organizing work to meet established deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy, at times in pressure situations in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
  4. Working skill in interpersonal interaction to be applied to a variety of individuals with differing education, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
  5. Working skill in developing and maintaining positive and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
  6. Working skill in written and verbal communication.
  7. Working skill in operating a personal computer, applicable software and peripheral equipment as well as learning and adapting to new and updated programs and technology.
  8. Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days/evenings/weekends as needed by the department.




Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:




  1. Some knowledge of an educational setting.




Essential Duties:




  1. Conduct quality control reviews, applicant entry and registration and records error resolution to ensure accuracy of data. Identify patterns or issues and recommend resolution steps to minimize errors. Collaboration with departments to ensure data accuracy.
  2. Process returned correspondence and other address control processes; coordinate duplicate record process and joint agreement registration reconciliation.
  3. Coordinate ICCB and National Student Clearinghouse report edits.
  4. Verify student records and process any necessary changes to ensure accuracy.
  5. Register students for both credit/non-credit classes through all modalities utilized, including researching, verifying & monitoring in compliance with prerequisites.
  6. Recommend procedure changes and training to insure data accuracy.
  7. Respond to all inquiries through all modalities utilized as a member of the registration team.
  8. Maintains required training, licensure and/or certification.
  9. Maintains confidentiality of privileged information and adheres to applicable privacy laws.
  10. Demonstrates sensitivity, understanding and respect of diverse populations within the workplace.
  11. Maintains an understanding of the work of colleagues to effectively provide backup and/or support for co-workers during times when the division is short-staffed or experiencing an increased volume of work.
  12. Adheres to department guidelines for attendance and punctuality.
