Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Pricing Analyst, Associate to join our growing team.

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Pricing Analyst, Associate to support the development of compliant, competitive, and data-informed pricing proposals. This role is essential to Acentra Health's pursuit of new and recompete contracts in the government healthcare space. You'll build and maintain price/cost models, support level-of-effort (LOE) estimating, analyze pricing levers, and help present pricing recommendations that influence strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and validation of detailed pricing proposals in response to government RFPs, including all components (labor, indirect costs, ODCs, subcontractor pricing, and escalation)
  • Translate RFPs, Statements of Work (SOW), and internal inputs into LOE estimates by labor category, task, and period of performance. Use historical data, productivity benchmarks, and operational assumptions to build defensible resource models
  • Identify and assess key pricing levers, such as labor mix, geography, fringe, G&A rates, subcontractor markups, and inflation Recommend trade-offs to improve cost competitiveness while maintaining performance requirements
  • Use Excel and data tools to develop custom pricing models and dashboards. Analyze trends across historical proposals and assist in margin sensitivity analysis
  • Create polished pricing summaries, slides, and visuals to communicate assumptions, scenarios, and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Review complex RFP pricing instructions and ensure all pricing volumes, justifications, and formats are fully compliant with solicitation requirements and internal policies
  • Work with Operations, Product, Proposal Managers, Business Development, Subcontracts, and SMEs to validate assumptions, gather rate inputs, and ensure alignment between pricing, technical, and contractual volumes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in pricing, proposal development, cost estimation, or business/data analysis in a government contracting environment. Relevant internship or co-op experience considered

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and model building
  • Familiarity with pricing formats such as FFP, T&M, CPFF, and hybrid models
  • Understanding of LOE modeling and workforce planning principles
  • Ability to interpret SOWs and technical volumes to build cost estimates
  • Data visualization or reporting skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a bonus

Soft Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under deadline pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to clearly present complex ideas
  • Proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to ask questions and learn
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and compliance-heavy environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience pricing state Medicaid, CMS, or other health-related government contracts
  • Familiarity with FAR, CAS, and state-level procurement requirements
