Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable and dynamic New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI - OPM) to lead a team in launching new audio technology products with precision timing, superior product quality, and optimal customer availability. This role plays a pivotal part in the fast-paced development and launch cycle, requiring excellence in program/project management. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, has top-tier organizational skills, and is obsessively detail-oriented. Strong communication across all levels and the ability to resolve conflicts and energize cross-functional teams are key to success. The NPI - OPM acts as the primary liaison between the core product development team and functional areas such as engineering, product design, marketing, planning, materials, and global supply chain. The overarching goal is a flawless product launch-meeting schedule, availability, and customer experience targets.
Key Qualifications
5+ years' experience in a manufacturing/operations or engineering-related environment
Experience managing communication between engineering teams and OEMs is a strong advantage
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Confident presenter with strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated track record of delivering results and driving projects forward
Highly self-motivated, energetic, and effective at managing multiple work streams
Deep attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities
Willingness to travel up to 30-35% internationally and domestically
Responsibilities
Lead OEM operations for new product builds and ramp-up phases
Coordinate cross-functional teams across the US and Asia for schedule, capacity, material, and quality management
Ensure component readiness-timely, cost-effective, and high-quality part availability
Drive supply chain readiness through proactive communication and execution
Serve as the internal communications hub for project issues, providing actionable solutions and executive updates
Improve product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)
MBA or advanced technical degree (preferred)
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $79.00-$85.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
