The Sheeter Line Operator is responsible for maximizing production output within established waste control targets. This involves closely monitoring and managing the sheeting line's performance, ensuring dough mixes are processed efficiently and within capacity

Responsibilities



  • Monitor and control the sheeting line's efficiency, ensuring dough mixes are processed within capacity and waste dough is appropriately reused.
  • Ensure flour dusters are maintained and filled at all times.
  • Verify proofer plate unit counts meet target specifications.
  • Monitor and verify dough batch times, temperature, and texture to guarantee consistent product quality.
  • Set and maintain process line control parameters within specifications, continually monitoring these controls to ensure product adherence to standards.
  • Maintain accurate weight scales and regularly weigh units to confirm they meet weight specifications.
  • Verify dough texture and temperature to ensure product development through the process system.
  • Record Quality Control checks accurately and promptly.
  • Continually weigh units to ensure product is within weight specifications.
  • Ensure mechanical line moving parts function as expected; report any malfunctions or potential failures to the supervisor immediately.
  • Assure that the Sheeter Line, workstations, are maintained organized and safe for working.
  • Continually communicate with Supervisor on dough conditions and quantity.
  • Record Quality Control checks accurately and timely.
  • Continually weigh units to ensure product is within weight specifications.
  • Make sure all documents are filled out by the end of each shift and put in their proper location
  • Collaborate closely with the Machine Operator and Lead.
  • Follow all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual.
  • Through Aspire AOE training understands and uses Centerline and CIL daily management systems
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving process
  • Performs area walk daily to detect issues & defects to help reduce and maintain waste levels
  • Follows standard work procedures and trains others on current best approach to minimize system variation
  • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing improvement ideas with management and actively engaging in AOE pillar activities.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.



Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months as an Ingredient operator or related experience
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced production or packing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and operate mixing process controls and makes adjustment when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of dough mixing and operating mixing equipment
  • Ability to comprehend scale and temperature readouts
  • Ability to document mixing and ingredients data accurately and timely
  • Ability to write clearly and legibly and possess basic effective verbal and written skills in English.
  • Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to work with computers and operating screens.



Shift: 1st 6:00am-2:30pm ( Must be able to work weekends)
