Procurement Coordinator, Temp-To-Hire (Monday-Friday), 100% On-Site

FlexStaff is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for our Client, a Prosthetics and Orthotics Lab with location in Manhattan, NY.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, 100% working on-site.

This is Temp-to-Hire role.

In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, procurement, and distribution of materials and services

The ideal candidate would have experience in supply chain and logistics processes, as well as experience working with suppliers to maintain quality and cost efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assist with timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
• Update purchase orders, track statuses, and communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with inventory and production teams to ensure material availability.
• Manage logistics and shipping for materials and products, including vendor accounts (e.g., UPS, FedEx).
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Analyze supply chain metrics and prepare management reports.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues and maintain relationships.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
