 TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research (KI) - Langer Lab, to join the Jaklenec Group to develop injectable drug delivery systems for vaccines and therapeutics, focusing on mRNA-lipid nanoparticles; design, fabricate, and characterize drug delivery materials and conducting rigorous testing using animal models; be responsible for fabrication & characterization: develop and characterize lipid nanoparticles using DLS, TEM, NMR, zeta potential analysis, and HPLC; assess mRNA stability and loading capacity and animal studies: administer injections (intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intraperitoneal) in mice and rats; and perform in-vivo imaging and analyze bio-samples (blood, tissue, organ homogenates) using qPCR, ELISA,and fluorescence imaging. 
 REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, material science, engineering, or related field; a minimum of two years of relevant lab experience, which may include experience gained as an undergraduate; willingness to work with animals; experience in drug delivery, biomaterials, molecular biology, or related fields; robust documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. PREFERRED: Masters degree in a relevant field; experience with histology, flow cytometry, micro molding, lipid nanoparticle synthesis, and drug delivery material characterization.
