Position Overview

Lead the operational implementation of our organization's key talent initiatives. This strategic role bridges the gap between strategy and execution, working across multiple stakeholders to design, implement, and scale processes and policies that enable efficient internal talent practices and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Process Design & Implementation

  • Develop and implement scalable mechanisms and processes for talent practices (products, programs, initiatives) across the organization

  • Partner with legal, recruiting, compensation, and other key teams to ensure alignment and compliance

  • Design end-to-end workflows that support efficient talent processes and prioritize business relevance, simplicity and impact

  • Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI to enhance process efficiency, improve decision-making, and inform policy development, ensuring alignment with ethical and responsible AI principles

  • Establish governance frameworks that balance speed, compliance, and employee experience stakeholder management

  • Collaborate with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and functional teams to

operationalize talent strategies

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive adoption and engagement

  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to address obstacles and identify solutions

  • Act as the operational liaison between strategy teams and implementation partners

Stakeholder Collaboration & Policy Advocacy

  • Collaborate extensively with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective, business relevant talent processes and policies

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and ensure the successful adoption of new and updated policies and processes

  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to gather input, address concerns, and ensure alignment on talent-related guidelines

  • Act as a subject matter expert on talent processes and policies, providing guidance and interpretation to stakeholders across the organization

Metrics, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define key metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of talent processes and policies

  • Develop reporting mechanisms to track compliance with talent policies and identify potential risks or inconsistencies

  • Analyze data and gather feedback to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and the need for policy adjustments

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and updating talent processes and policies to reflect evolving business needs and best practices

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in developing and implementing talent-related processes and policies within a complex organization

  • Demonstrated AI and data literacy, including the ability to understand, interpret, and analyze data, and a working knowledge of AI concepts, applications, and limitations.

  • Strong business and technology acumen, including familiarity with HR technologies, data analytics platforms, and emerging digital trends, and the ability to leverage technology to enhance talent operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategic objectives into clear and actionable guidelines

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive results in a collaborative environment

Leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus across diverse teams

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives related to process and policy development

  • Track record of establishing clear frameworks and guidelines that drive consistent practices

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with a strong focus on practical implementation and operational impact

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
