Corporate Communications and PR Inten/Co-Op (Undergrad | Summer 2025 | Hybrid)

JOB DETAILS:

  • Location: Austin, Texas
  • Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
  • Duration: May 2025 to August 2025.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize photo assets; upload to shared galleries and distribute to relevant stakeholders
  • Regularly update leadership team webpages with new content and assets
  • Collaborate with the Creative team to develop visual assets for social media
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a tracking system for internal and external engagement requests
  • Review and evaluate incoming engagement and speaking opportunities
  • Help initiate the 2026 Engagement Recommendations Calendar
  • Maintain and update communication tracking platforms
  • Compile a 2024 activity list for project and campaign tracking
  • Transcribe scripts for internal and external video/audio communications

Media & Content Support:

  • Assist in drafting briefing materials for leadership and external engagements
  • Conduct media research and maintain up-to-date press and media lists
  • Help manage a corporate awards tracker and identify new opportunities
  • Support the creation of corporate news announcements and communications
  • Draft and edit blog posts and internal/external content as needed
  • Assist in monitoring media coverage and preparing performance and impact reports

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills
  • Familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, content management systems)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • A proactive team player with strong communication skills
  • Interest in corporate communications, branding, and media relations
