DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Highway Maintenance Worker, your responsibilities will encompass a diverse array of tasks, including manual labor and parts running. You will utilize both motorized and non-motorized hand tools for various activities such as cleaning culverts, mowing grass, installing signs, digging ditches, and repairing guiderails and barriers. It is crucial for you to evaluate your surroundings and prioritize safety for yourself, your colleagues, and the public in this position. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch, through the summer, and winter shifts vary 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Additional Requirement:
- You must possess a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
