Position Summary

As part of our ongoing commitment to client service excellence, we are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Centralized RFP team.

The Head of RFP & Content Strategy will lead a high-performing team within TCW's Centralized RFP group. This team is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from both prospective and existing institutional and wealth clients. The Head of RFP & Content Strategy will partner closely with investment teams and global distribution channels to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant responses that accurately represent TCW's capabilities and value proposition.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive strategic improvements in the RFP process, lead, and mentor a growing team, and integrate technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.



Essential Duties

    Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of RFPs and DDQs, ensuring timely, high-quality, and accurate responses that meet both client and internal stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead daily and weekly team huddles, monitor project pipelines, and manage escalation protocols to ensure prioritization and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with investment teams (Fixed Income, Private Credit & ABF, Equities), client portfolio managers, sales professionals, compliance, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and communicate information effectively.
  • Articulate investment philosophy, process, product positioning, and market trends to both internal and external audiences.
  • Drive process innovation by identifying and implementing improvements in workflows, knowledge management, and automation.
  • Own and lead strategic initiatives and projects related to technology adoption, reporting automation, and content standardization. Experience with platforms like Responsive is a strong plus.
  • Develop, coach, and manage a team of RFP professionals; set clear goals and provide regular feedback aligned with business priorities.
  • Establish and track metrics for RFP volume, turnaround times, win rates, and team performance to inform continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a quality control check for work completed by team members and help uphold TCW's compliance and brand standards.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in RFP management with strong people leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience writing or editing RFP content is highly desirable.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and a client-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adaptability to new platforms; knowledge of RFP software such as Responsive is preferred.
  • Prior experience in asset management, especially within institutional or intermediary distribution channels, is a plus.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.

Estimated Compensation:

Base Salary: For CA based position, the base salary range is $200k - $250k. This is an anticipated range only.

Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
