This position reports to Maintenance Supervisor and is located in Borger, Texas

What you will do:

• Ensuring safe and efficient work practices such as, housekeeping, tool care, permitting, WHAT cards and productivity
• Following and adhering to all safety policies, procedures, performing JTO's, participating by entering near misses, reporting incidents, and attending safety meetings as required
• Performing daily maintenance by welding, cutting, reading drawings, layout, bolting and maintaining stationary equipment
• Performing daily and routine preventative maintenance (PMs) as required Performing Pipe Fitter Welding work including major overhauls of equipment Documenting repairs and reliability information on equipment
• Following written procedures and completing detailed checklist
• Working closely with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to develop PM standards on equipment
• Attending and completing required training internally and externally specific to job skills as required
• Operate mobile equipment as required
• Deliver quality work with limited supervision
• Work outside scheduled hours (including holidays) as needed to ensure plant reliability
• Complete work in plant environment in all weather conditions

What you will bring:

• Minimum 1-year industrial pipefitting/welding experience required, 3 or more years preferred
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Specific working knowledge of all types of welding, cutting, blueprint reading, layout and bolting, interpreting drawings & IOM's
• High level of skill in the use of all types welding techniques and ASME welding standards
• Thorough knowledge of various metals characteristic and qualities including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material preferred
• Troubleshooting and analytical ability
• Working knowledge of computer systems and data management systems including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment & obtain certifications
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on a daily basis
• Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders 40-50' in height
