As a member of the IT Engineering team at Figma, you will play a meaningful role in managing and securing our modern, cloud-first IT environment. Your work will directly contribute to the productivity and security of all Figma employees. The team manages a wide range of critical systems, from the employee-facing services like Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack, to the backend infrastructure that protects our company, including Jamf and Okta Workflows, and our entire fleet of endpoints.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.


What you'll do at Figma:

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Jamf Pro for macOS and mobile devices, including enrollment, profiles, application deployment, and compliance
  • Deploy system configurations via code, using tools such as GitHub and Terraform
  • Develop and implement endpoint security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential endpoint issues
  • Assist with ongoing management and optimization of the Okta Identity and Access Management platform.Configure and customize Okta to fulfill Figma's authentication and authorization needs
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using tools like Okta Workflows or custom code to automate repetitive and manual tasks
  • Work with diverse teams to ensure endpoints align with company policies and standards
  • Build and maintain documentation for supported applications, processes, and training materials for internal employees and IT staff
  • Keep current on the SaaS Platforms under the IT Engineering umbrellas, ensuring Figma is implementing best practices and current with platform enhancements


We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in macOS endpoint management, Jamf Pro preferred
  • Proven experience with GitOps / configuration as code / Terraform
  • Knowledge of device trust and zero trust security models
  • Experience with macOS security features and tools
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


While not required, it's an added plus if you also have:

  • Experience managing Okta Identity Engine and Okta WorkFlows
  • Familiarity with OS Query and its use in endpoint security and threat detection is a plus.
  • Experience with bash and python

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma's San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information.

Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):
$122,000 $215,000 USD
