Yard Associate

Atlanta Landscape Materials, a Heritage partner company, is actively seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual that is a team player. This full-time Yard Associate will focus on duties to include Skid Steer duties, stocking the yard/warehouse, shipping/receiving, loading/unload trucks.

The work schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 7:00am-4:30pm. With rotating Saturdays and a day off during the week if you are scheduled for a Saturday.

DUTIES

• Skid Steer Operator duties to assist and service customers.
• Stocking, receiving incoming stock is checked/placed and staging all yard/warehouse products.
• Ensure all customers are loaded in a timely manner.
• Reservations are tagged and pulled to designated location.
• Low inventory communicated to Yard Manager. Maintain communication with employees/customers.
• Loading, unloading, and securing product for customers, delivery vehicles, and inbound trucks.
• Keeping yard/facility area neat and organized.
• Operating forklifts in Indoor/Outdoor environments
• Operating multiple sized frontend wheel loaders.
• Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
• Forklift experience helpful, not required.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful, but not required.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
